Observational Cosmology

Observational Cosmology

This line of research has the aim at understanding the origin and evolution of the Universe as a whole and its large scale structures, such as stars, galaxies, clusters and large voids (the cosmic web). It intends to understand the effects of dark matter and dark energy on the evolution of the cosmos.

Main Topics:

    - Large Scale Structures
    - Galaxies
    - Dark Matter
    - Dark Energy
    - Cosmic Background Radiation
